DIRECTIONS FOR THE TEST

FOR THE SHORT ANSWER QUESTIONS, just give me one good sentence that answers the question.

FOR THE TWO ESSAY QUESTIONS...
  • Make one claim that answers the question.
  • Give 3 to 5 pieces of evidence that support your claim.
  • Use evidence from throughout the book, not just the first half.
  • Explain how the evidence supports your claim.
  • Write your answer in a single, well-organized paragraph.

    In part, of course, this is because there was no answer to the final question.
